Hygiene Kit Initiative

Dignity Shouldn’t Be a Luxury.

Hygiene should never stand in the way of education.

Why It Matters: Every child deserves the confidence to learn without shame or stigma. Yet many students in Liberia miss school due to poor hygiene- especially girls managing menstruation without supplies.

Our Goal: Deliver 200 hygiene kits to students in rural communities and schools.

  • 100 for girls (includes reusable sanitary products)

  • 100 for boys (includes shaving and grooming supplies)

Each kit also contains:
✔️ Toothbrush + toothpaste
✔️ Soap + deodorant
✔️ Washcloth, comb

Every kit restores dignity. Every gift changes a life.

For as little as $25 per kit (contents & shipping), you can help a student stay in school, stay healthy, and stay hopeful.

  • $25- Provides a single kit for a girl or boy

  • $250- Amplify Your Reach with 10 Kits

  • $500- Sponsor A Classroom with 20 Kits

Infrastructure Repairs

Laying “Foundations for Brighter Futures”

“One Classroom at a Time” Rollout Plan

Why It Matters: Broken windows, leaking roofs, exposed wiring, and missing doors aren't just infrastructure problems- they’re barriers to learning, dignity, and safety. Children can’t focus in a classroom that feels neglected. Teachers can’t teach in a space that’s falling apart.

When we restore classrooms, libraries, cafeterias, and washrooms, we’re not just fixing doors, windows and walls, we’re rebuilding confidence, community, and opportunity.

Our Goal: In 2025, we are launching targeted repairs at an alumni-managed, church-owned school in Roberstsport, Liberia beginning with:

  • Replacing broken windows and doors

  • Repairing roofs and electrical hazards

  • Restoring key learning spaces like classrooms, the library and computer lab

Our initial goal is to fully renovate 3-5 rooms by year-end, creating safer, brighter, and more dignified learning environments for over 100 students.

Every repaired classroom is a declaration: these students matter.

The James B. Lumei Foundation 4HeR Program

Sponsor A Girl, Rewrite Her Future.

Rescue. Rehabilitate. Restore. Reignite.

Why It Matters: Every day, hundreds of young girls in Monrovia live on the streets- abandoned, exploited, and disconnected from school.

Our Goal: In 2025, the James B. Lumei Foundation will launch its flagship initiative to-

  • Rescue and rehabilitate 3–5 at-risk girls (ages 9–15) currently living on the streets of Monrovia

  • Provide safe housing, daily care, and trauma-informed counseling

  • Enroll each girl in school, provide uniforms, tutoring, and mentorship

  • Support their physical and emotional health, including nutrition, hygiene, and life skills development

Rescue is the first step.

Rehabilitation is the path to hope and restoration.

Give a girl safety, stability, and a second chance.
